Mr. Sadoff has been named on Institutional Investor’s The Tech 50 list, and as one of the 10 most influential CIOs by Securities Technology Monitor, and received an American Financial Technology Award for Best Global Deployment. He has been ranked in the top 15 on the InformationWeek 500 for two consecutive years.
Before joining BGC Group, Mr. Sadoff was Managing Director for Bank of America from 2013 until 2017, overseeing technology globally for central risk book, electronic trading, sales, research, and capital markets.
He worked for Knight Capital from 2002 until 2013, where he was Executive Vice President and Global Head of Operations, Services & Technology. Prior to that he was the Chief Information Officer for BondBook – an electronic marketplace created by eight of the world’s largest broker dealers – from May 2000 to December 2001. He also held a variety of leadership roles at Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers from 1990 to 2000.
Mr. Sadoff has served on the advisory board for Corvil, Ltd., the technology and operations Customer Advisory Board for Thomson Reuters; as a member of the SIFMA Operations & Technology Steering Committee; and as a past board member of Direct Edge Holdings, LLC. and Pico Quantitative Trading, LLC.
Mr. Sadoff holds a B.S. in computer science, an M.S. in electrical engineering, and a D.Sc. in computer science, all from Washington University in St. Louis.
